Braking & Cornering Data
To tackle tailgaters and ease driving acceleration/deceleration chaining along
a line of traffic, adjust the distance in front of you to the next vehicle
in light of how close the vehicle is behind you.
You have no control over the distance vehicles are behind you, but you do
have control over your distance to vehicles in front of you. Thus you
have responsibility to compensate for their overly close driving as much as they.
LED based high-level brake light illuminate much quicker allowing traffic behind you
to react more quickly, and thus stop more quickly.

Stopping Distance
The Probe/MX6/626 offer particularly short stopping distances. The data
is merely to be borne in mind regarding tailgaters, not used as an excuse for
owners to tailgate or leave insufficient stopping distance. The front end of
cars is packed and repairs are expensive & time-consuming. The front-end of a
human being is even more densely packed and parts are in appallingly poor supply.
Even 0.2mm of water on a road has a drastic effect on stopping distances.

High Level Brake Lights
Rear high-level brake lights are valuable contribution to safety. An often overlooked
benefit is when one of the two rear brake lights bulb fails, and is therefore extremely
easy to miss.
Cornering Performance Statistics
Some comparative slalom (mph) figures indicate that the Probe can compete
with the best - preferably contained to the AutoX course rather than the road.
